So to many women I probably have 0 fashion sense points. Unlike my best friend who is a fashion blogger and is always fashionable - I tend to go with what’s in the laundry basket. I am totally okay with this. I even have a name for it. I like to call it Laundry Chic. So the rule is it’s fair game to wear so as long as it doesn’t need to be ironed or if wrinkled the wrinkles can be knocked out by the steam dryer.
So generally I just dig through my clean laundry until I find something that meets these requirements. I actually have it down to a science and I am proud to say I’ve only ironed twice in 7 months and it takes me no more than 3 minutes to piece together an outfit. I suppose some of the dry clean items count as cheating but I won’t count them here.
I like clothes that are nice to look at but also easy to prepare. I have better things to do other than standing over an iron for 20-30 minutes a day, like say writing a blog post about not ironing.
One day I might actually start another blog dedicated to my daily treasure hunt in the laundry basket. Or I might just hang up my damn clothes.
